NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion KENTA took to Twitter on Wednesday to let CM Punk know he is free on June 17.
AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan announced during Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, that CM Punk will return to the company at the debut episode of Collision, on Saturday, June 17.
Punk has been absent from AEW since last September’s All Out media scrum, after being suspended following comments he made about talent which resulted in a backstage fight with with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.
The debut episode of Collision will take place from Punk’s hometown in Chicago, IL at the United Center.
AEW Saturday Collision will air live every Saturday night on TNT from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm ET.
