All the rumors and much talk of a AEW television show has turned out to be true.
AEW announced during Wednesday’s Warner Bros Discovery upfront in New York City, AEW Saturday Collision will premiere on TNT June 17.
AEW Collision will air live every Saturday night from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm ET. This will be the first live weekly professional wrestling show on TNT since WCW Monday Nitro, which ended in March 2001 after WCW was acquired by WWE.
Collision now joins, Dynamite which is on TBS every Wednesday and Rampage that airs every Friday night on TNT.
AEW also issued a full press release officially announcing the new TV show. In the release, current ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe, Andrade El Idolo, Powerhouse Hobbs and Thunder Rosa are all listed as being part of the show. However, CM Punk, who has been heavily rumored to be part of the new show, was not mentioned in the release.
The venue and location for the debut episode was not announced. However, previous reports have indicated it will emanate from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
There was no mention of new television rights fees with WBD, the financial details of the new show or any streaming deal.
