According to TMZ Sports, Former WWE Tough Enough winner and NXT Superstar wrestler Sara Lee died by suicide, last October. It was said by TMZ the cause of death is per a new autopsy report obtained by the publication.
TMZ Sports noted that in the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office documents, officials said Lee ingested a lethal combination of alcohol and pills. They added she had left “letters of intent at the scene” before her death.
Also according to officials in the documents, Lee had bruises and abrasions on her head and body at the time of her passing. Officials suspected she may have suffered those injuries in a fall or falls while in an intoxicated state.
Lee participated in season six of “Tough Enough” back in 2015 and earned a one-year $250,000 contract with WWE. She appeared in NXT for most of 2016, but moved to the independent scene after the company released later that year.
Lee was married to former WWE Superstar Wesley Blake at the time of her passing. Together, they two had two children, Piper and Brady.
Lee was 30 years old at the time of her passing.
