AEW’s Chris Jericho starring in new film set to debut this fall

AEW star Chris Jericho is starring in the new UPtv original film “Country Hearts” as first reported by Variety on Tuesday. The new film is set to debut this fall.

Jericho will play the role of Bones Jamieson, an ex-rock star ranch owner, who is the father and husband to “a family of country music artists, all the while trying to start a new horse breeding business.”

It was noted that a sequel has already been given a go. However, it is unknown as of this writing if Jericho will reprise his role.

The description for the film is as follows:

“The daughters of country music and rock & roll royalty who find themselves at a crossroads, torn between following their dreams of performing or helping their father run their up-and-coming horse breeding business. Between old flames, new love, best friends and family – they’ll all need the strength of each other to face the next steps.”

UPtv is a streaming service that focuses on faith-based and other family friendly entertainment.

Jericho has previously had roles in television and movies such as MacGruber, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Terrifier 2 and Sharknado.
