Despite some recent misconceptions, Kenny Omega has not signed a new deal with AEW as of yet.
Speculation on Kenny Omega’s contractual status with AEW came up due to comments from Konnan in regards to his availabilty for AAA Triplemania Monterrey, due to what he assumed was contract negotiations with AEW and the possibility of re-signing.
This has been cleared up some via Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, who talked about Omega’s contract being extended due to his injuries.
According to Meltzer, Omega should be under contract until “around November or December,” clarifying that no new deal was signed.
