As first reported by Fightful, Vickie Guerrero and her husband Kris Benson have denied the allegations of sexual assault against the latter made by Vickie’s daughter, Sherilyn Guerrero.
Sherilyn initally made the claim in a TikTok video on April 4, stating that Benson sexually assaulted her during a cruise the family went on.
Vickie would post a response to this on Instagram in a now-deleted post previously reported on, saying her relationship with Sherilyn has been hostile for years and that she tried to take her to therapy on numerous occasions to deal with her behavior. There were also accusations of Sherilyn being drunk on the same cruise.
The allegations were not outwardly denied in this statement, but a new one courtesy of their lawyer details the denial of the allegations.
Vickie Guerrero was recently removed from the AEW roster, with an understanding that her contract would not be renewed when it expired in July 2023. News of her departure from AEW was reported on before the allegations against Benson came out.
