FTR are your new AEW World Tag Team Champions!
After a fun back and forth match, which was the main event of Wednesday night’s Dynamite, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were able to defeat the Gunns (Austin and Colton) by pinfall.
With the win on Wednesday night, Harwood and Wheeler are now staying in AEW. There had a lot of speculation as to where FTR would end up after their AEW deals expired this month.
Below is an excerpt from Alex Kahrs’ AEW Dynamite recap of how it all went down.
3:10 To Yuma connects on Cash! They roll him out of the ring as Austin turns his attention back to Dax in the corner. Dax starts fighting back, knocking Austin off the ropes as Colten slides in a title. Ref catches it and gives it to Justin, but Colten slides the other title in…and Austin uses it on Dax! Cover…but only a two count as Dax kicks out!
Colten gets in the ring as the champs stare down Dax…only Cash is up on the top rope! Cash hits a sunset flip on Colten as Dax rolls up Austin…and they get the pin and the win to become the NEW tag champs!
