Tim White to receive Warrior Award at WWE Hall of Fame 2023 Class ceremony

The late Tim White will be honored at the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

During the March 29, 2023 episode of WWE’s The Bump, Kayla Braxton announced that Tim White will receive the 2023 Warrior Award.

The Warrior Award is presented to those who have shown unwavering strength, perseverance, courage and compassion.

During the 24 years that White worked for WWE, he officiated many matches, including the classic Hell in a Cell Match between Mankind and The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998. He retired as a referee in 2002. However he came out of retirement for one night only, to officiate the match between Chris Jericho and Christian at WrestleMania 20.

Also in WWE, White had a behind the scenes role as a talent agent. He also was the assistant for WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant and helped with security for many of the Superstars during autograph signings.

White passed away on June 19, 2022 at age 68.

The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will be held at this Friday, Match 31 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. It will air live on Peacock in the US and WWE Network everywhere else, immediately following SmackDown on FOX.
