During Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite, FTR made a stipulation, after The Gunns successfully defended the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Top Flight.
Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler came down to the ring to a a huge ovation. However, before they could talk, Colten Gunn said there was nothing that would make The Gunns give them (FTR) a chance at tag team gold. Harwood then offered to put he and Cash Wheeler’s AEW careers on the line, saying that they will leave AEW if they can’t defeated The Gunns for the tag team titles. The accepted the match and then spit at the FTR before they left the ring.
There has been much speculation as the where FTR will land after their AEW contracts are up sometime this April. Dax Harwood recently said that it will be made known soon where the tag team will go next. Mostly likely if they do not re-sign with AEW, the heavy rumors are they will either end up back in WWE or go to NJPW.
Adam Cole returns to in-ring action next week, after a long absence due to a shoulder and head injury. He will square off against Daniel Garcia came out and went after Cole. This will be Cole’s first match since June 2022.
