Kingston was involved in an angle during Friday’s episode where he and Xavier Woods were involved in a brawl with Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Karrion Kross, and LA Knight after they all made claims to getting the next Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Gunther. As a result of the brawl, a fatal five-way match was announced to determine the new No. 1 contender next week’s show. Kingston, Sheamus McIntyre, LA Knight, and Cross are all now scheduled to be in the match. The winner will then go on to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles on April 1 and 2.
