As first reported by Fightful, then confirmed by F4WOnline, Brock Lesnar did not want to have a match at WrestleMania 39 against Bray Wyatt.
The reports note that Lesnar is said to have turned down the match against Wyatt, which then led to Lesnar vs. Omos instead. Bobby Lashley is taking Lesnar’s place to work the program with Wyatt, which is expected to conclude at WrestleMania.
Furthermore, F4WOnline stated that what was originally going to happen was Lesnar was supposed to defeat Lashley at the Elimination Chamber event, which was going to lead to Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, which is why they had to change the finish.
Lesnar vs. Omos was made official for WrestleMania 39 during this past Monday’s episode of Raw, when Lesnar accepted the challenge made by MVP and Omos the week prior.
