Former WWE NXT UK British Superstar Xia Brookside has officially returned to World Wonder Ring Stardom.
Brookside joined the debuting Mariah May in accompanying Mina Shirakawa to the ring on Thursday’s Stardom Queendom 2022 event at Tokyo’s Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Shirakawa and her Pink Kabuki teammate Unagi Sayaka defeated Thekla and Mai Sakurai at the event. Post-Match: Shirakawa turned on Sayaka and introduced Brookside and May as her new teammates. The new faction will be going by the name Club Venus.
Brookside appeared in WWE NXT UK between 2018 to 2022. She also was part of the 2018 Mae Young Classic. Brookside, 24, was released from her WWE NXT UK contract this past August when it was announced that NXT UK was going on hiatus and being rebranded to NXT Europe in early 2023.
Prior to signing with WWE, Brookside previously appeared for World Wonder Ring Stardom from July 2017 until April 2018.
