Backstage news and identity of third member of new AEW faction

Fightful Select is reporting the third man in Swerve Strickland’s new faction Mogul Affiliates is 6-foot-4, 30 year old former baseball player Granden Goetzman, who went by the name of “Human Bazooka” while he played baseball. Strickland’s new faction attacked Keith Lee during a segment on Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite.

Goetzman was the Tampa Bay Rays second round draft pick in 2011. He played baseball in Mexico up until 2021. In the United States, he played in the Tampa Bay Rays minor league system, and then in 2019 he was moved to the St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros farm systems.

Fightful Select further notes Goetzman has been training at The Wrestling Lab in Pinellas County, Florida, which is ran by Jay Lethal. It was further said AEW planned Goetzman’s debut a few weeks in advance. Goetzman reportedly has been with AEW for many months and was backstage at the October 12 episode of Dynamite.

Furthermore, Fightful Select concluded that there is no word yet on Goetzman’s AEW contract status.

The group consists of Swerve Strickland, Parker Boudreaux (former NXT Superstar Harland) and Granden Goetzman. It appears that rapper Rick Ross could be the mouthpiece of the group. However, this has not been confirmed.
