Boxing Legend Mike Tyson to do commentary on next week’s live AEW Rampage

AEW announced during Friday night’s live episode of Rampage that boxing legend “Iron” Mike Tyson will appear as a special guest commentator on next Friday night’s special live Rampage.

Tyson has made previous appearances on AEW programming. Back in 2020, he was on an episode of AEW Dynamite, confronting Chris Jericho. He made an appearance again in 2021 on an episode of Dynamite. His first appearance with AEW was when he presented the TNT Championship to Cody Rhodes at the 202 Double or Nothing PPV, when Cody became the very first champion by defeating Lance Archer in a tournament final match.

According to PWInsider, Tyson’s appearance next Friday “may not be just a one-off”, as “AEW and that the deal for Tyson to appear was put together just a few days ago.”

Also announced for next week’s Rampage is a match for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship. Current champion Orange Cassidy is scheduled to select an opponent. However, he is set to defend the title on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite in a three-way match against Luchasarus and Rey Fenix.

Below is the current lineup for next week’s live episode of AEW Rampage that will take place at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
