Imperium reformed at Saturday’s WWE Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.
When Ludwig Kaiser was introducing Gunther for his Intercontinental Title defense against Sheamus, he mentioned the Imperium faction and then introduced Giovanni Vinci, formerly known as Fabian Aichner in NXT.
Imperium was in NXT from May 2019 to April 2022. The faction had disbanded after Gunther (formerly known as WALTER) and Barthel (now going by Ludwig Kaiser) were called up to the main roster.
Saturday at Clash at the Castle was Vinci’s first appearance on the main roster.
