According to PWInsider, the old feeling of “walking on eggshells” that was prevalent in certain departments within WWE has quickly faded away, and has been replaced with a renewed hope and pride for those working for the company.
PWInsider noted the follwing in their report:
On the production side, the change has been described as “massively night and day.” There is not anyone yelling at the production truck or the announcers anymore.
Mondays and Fridays are no longer being seen as the worst days of the job. Even though the days are extremely long and hard, everyone is not walking in and out expecting some sort of PTSD to follow them home the next day after Raw and SmackDown.
The announcers, cameramen, producers and directors have been extremely happy over the last few weeks. One person stated, everyone is “allowed to feel like it’s fun to work here.” It is all led to a better flow and engagement across the board, sparking creative ideas and more camaraderie in the department.
Those that were looking to leave just a few months ago have reconsidered that decision. Many others who have pointed out how happy they are and how they hope the current “honeymoon feeling” of the new regime remains, because it has already meant a world of difference in their day to day professional lives.
