As first reported by Fightful Select and then F4WOnline, WWE is alleged to have reached out to a “notable” member of the AEW talent roster.
The reports note an unnamed wrestler had informed AEW management that they were contacted by WWE regarding working for them. The AEW talent roster member was described as one “who is known to be under contract” and is full-time with the company.
It was further said the unnamed talent did inform AEW management because they felt AEW’s higher-ups deserved to know. They also told AEW that they have no interest in leaving and in addition, had said to WWE that they are happy where they are.
Fightful concluded the report by saying the unnamed AEW talent told them that it was someone from the WWE Talent Relations Department that reached out.
