WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg, who was released from his behind-the-scenes role with NXT this past January, was a guest on Thursday’s episode of Busted Open Radio.
At the end of the interview, Road Dogg revealed he has been “begging” Tony Khan for a job in AEW – on every platform and wants to know why Khan won’t hire him. Road Dogg went on to say that he sees things on AEW television that he is “appalled by” and thinks he can help Khan with that. He also said he would “love to return to NXT”, but does not think he wants to go back to the WWE main roster.
On an episode of his “Oh…You Didn’t Know” podcast last month, Road Dogg said that AEW on television looks like “an indie show that somebody filmed with some nice cameras.”
