AEW star Chris Jericho suffered a broken nose during his Barbed Wire Everywhere Match against Eddie Kingston at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Week 2.
Both AEW and Jericho revealed the news Thursday on Twitter.
The injury occurred during a Codebreaker with barbed wire wrapped chair that accidentally hit Jericho in the face. Jericho, with an assist from Sammy Guevara, hit the Judas Effect on Kingston to get the win.
As of this report, it is unknown how long Jericho and Kingston will be out of action or off AEW television to sell the injuries from the match.
