A new vignette aired during Monday night’s episode of WWE Raw with more references to past WWE legends.
In the new vignette, you can see a flannel shirt (Mick Foley), a 2005 Randy Orton t-shirt and a John Cena hat. At the end, it appears someone is writing a message that is in a blood-like substance.
At WWE Money in the Bank, a vignette was shown with references Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, The Dudley Boyz, and Jeff Hardy. Ths vignette was replayed during Raw for two weeks in a row, before the new one aired during the July 11 episode.
The previous vignette that first aired during Money in Bank back on July 2, can be seen below.
According to Fightful Select the working plan is for the vignettes to represent Edge.
Edge was taken out by Finn Balor and the rest of Judgment Day on the Monday Night Raw episode that was the fallout episode for Hell in a Cell.
Speculation has been that the vignettes represent Edge and that this is leading up to Edge’s return. My hope is that we will see a swerve and that the vignettes turn out to be a Dominik Mysterio heel turn, with him turning on his father and joining the Judgement Day.
