The dark match at Friday’s WWE SmackDown at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY, saw Cody Rhodes defeat Seth Rollins.
After the match ended, a young fan jumped the barricade to make an attempt to get a picture with Cody Rhodes. Rhodes appeared concerned about the fan touching him from behind, and wasted no time calling for security. Rhodes did ask the young fan where his parents were, before he told him he should return to his seat. Cody eventually took the picture.
Brandon turrisi who was in attendance at Friday’s caught the incident on video and posted it to Twitter, along with Cody’s reaction, which can also be seen below.
Also according to PWInsider, there was another incident that involved a young fan at the at Friday night’s SmackDown. After seeing a kid had a sign noting it was his birthday, it was said that Cody wanted to bring him up to the ring. However, Cody did not believe he was allowed to do so, but eventually said “screw it” and lifted the kid on the ring apron for the fans in the arena to sing Happy Birthday to him.
