Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics has released the results of a new study on the percentage of Google searches among pro wrestling promotions so far in 2022.
The study also included the top searches for wrestling personalities in 2022.
WWE has the dominated searches so far with an 80.1 percent share of Google searches so far among all wrestling promotions.
Below are the rest the search results as it pertains to Google searches.
AEW – 12.4 percent
IMPACT – 1.5 percent
ROH, NWA and MLW – All at 1 percent
The study also shows AEW has had a steady gain in online popularity the past 12 months.
For wrestling personalities, Roman Reigns was the most searched for April 2022, with Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, Cody Rhodes and Triple H rounding out the Top-5.
