Rhodes vs. Rollins II
A rematch between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins is official for WWE WrestleMania Backlash.
As Rhodes was getting ready to square off against The Miz on Monday’s WWE Raw, Seth Rollins, who was on commentary, came in and suggested a rematch. Rhodes immediately accepted.
WWE WrestleMania Backlash will take place on Sunday, May 8 from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI.
Bianca Belair’s First Challenger for the Raw Women’s Title
Bianca Belair’s first challenger for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship is On-Screen Authority Figure Sonya Deville.
Deville announced herself as Belair’s first challenger on this past Monday’s WWE Raw.
During the show, Deville presented Belair with an open contract to sign before Belair’s first challenger would be revealed. After Belair signed the contract, Deville attacked Belair from behind with a chop block, and announced herself as Belair’s first challenger, and signed the contract herself.
Later in the show during a backstage segment, on-screen official Adam Pearce scolded Deville for abusing her power by naming herself Belair’s first challenger.
The Usos Challenge RK-Bro To A Unification Tag Title Match
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos challenged RK-Bro to a tag team title unification match on this past Monday’s Raw.
After WWE Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) defeated Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis), The Usos arrived and confronted RK-Bro. They officially challenged RK-Bro to a title unification tag team title match. Before RK-Bro could give The Uso and answer, The Street Profits came out and said The Usos were attempting to “jump the line.” Randy Orton then interrupted, and said he would rather see them fight than talk. A match between The Usos and the Street Profits took place. The Usos won the match.
Post-Match, both teams posed with their titles. As the Usos left for the backstage area, RK-Bro watched go. The Street Profits attacked RK-Bro. The Usos then came back into the ring and superkicked RK-Bro, as the show closed with The Usos holding the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championship Belts.
At the end of last Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns told The Usos he wanted them to be go to Raw to challenge RK-Bro to a Tag Title Unification Match, as his next goal is to unify both titles to create the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
