Several video clips have now surfaced on Twitter of Jeff Hardy from Saturday night’s Supershow event in Corpus Christi, TX.
We had previously reported Hardy missed Sunday’s event in Corpus Christi, Texas.
As we had indicated, the word going around is that he was sent home from the road after he worked Saturday night’s Supershow in Edinburg, TX. He where teamed with King Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in the main event. After spending most of the match in the ring and getting worked over by The Bloodline, he was said to have became sluggish as the match went on. He then made a hot tag to McIntyre and immediately disappeared into the crowd. He was then followed by security, but never returned to the ring, and did not participate in the post-match celebration. Hardy was not backstage for Sunday’s live event in Corpus Christi, and was replaced by Rey Mysterio.
There is a video on Twitter from That wrestling guy that shows Hardy making the tag to McIntyre, and laying on the apron for a few seconds, flat on his back, and the leaves the ring and jumps over the barrier to make his way through the crowd. A WWE security guard is also seen going to the barrier to follow Hardy through the crowd.
In another video that is from Joe Contreras (see below), you can see Hardy holding his stomach as he is acknowledging the fans.
There has been various social media talk that Hardy did not seem to be himself while he made his ring entrance.
