According to Fightful Select, WWE officials are reportedly wanting Kyle O’Reilly to re-sign with the company, and it is being said that there is discussion of time being added to the contract of current NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.
O’Reilly’s NXT contract was set to expire some time in December. Fightful Select noted that WWE has interest in re-signing O’Reilly, and that they have approached him about signing a new contract. As of this report, there is no word if an official offer has been made.
Fightful Select indicated that WWE is looking at extending Ciampa’s NXT contract due to injury time. He was out of action for about seven months back in 2019 due to a neck injury which required surgery.
