AEW CEO and President Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce that Jon Moxley (real name Jonathan Good) is entering into an inpatient alcohol treatment program.
Moxley gave Tony Khan permission to share publicly on Tuesday night, that he (Moxley) is entering the program.
Moxley was scheduled to wrestle Orange Cassidy on tonight’s live Dynamite, in a match for the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. As of this report, there is no word on a replacement for Moxley in the tournament.
He is also the current holder of the Game Changer Wrestling World Title. There has been no statement from GCW on the status of the championship.
