As first reported by OutKick and later confirmed by PWInsider, WWE interviewer Renee Young has given her notice to WWE, and intends to exit the company.
Young (real name Renee Good), has been with WWE since 2012. Prior to WWE, she worked for Canada’s Score Television Network.
There is no word when her final date with the company is yet. It is believed that Young gave her notice a week ago.
Young became the first female to become a full-time color commentator for the Monday Night Raw in August 2018, before shifting to SmackDown as a “special contributor” in October 2019.
Young has worked as backstage interviewer, has hosted WWE TV programming such as Backstage on FS1, hosted pay-per-view pre-shows, and also was a cast member for a season on Total Divas. She also had her own WWE Network series called Unfiltered with Renee Young.
Most recently, Young announced that she is writing a cookbook.
Young is married to current AEW Champion Jon Moxley, who she met while working working for WWE.
As of this report, there is no word yet on what Young will be doing next. Neither Young nor WWE has publicly commented on the departure.
We will have more on this story as more information becomes available.
