AEW Rampage Quick Results – 7/7/23 (100th episode, Dark Orders vs. The Elite, more!)

Below are the quick results along with some highlights from Friday night’s 100th episode of AEW Rampage that aired on TNT. AEW taped the episode this past Wednesday at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Match quick results with some highlights:

Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver and Evil Uno) defeated Hangman Page and The Young Bucks after Konosuke Takeshita distracted the referee, leading to Claudio Castagnoli attacking Page who then got pinned by Uno

Takeshita came out of the crowd to distract the referee. Uno then hit Page with a low blow and ROH World Champion Claudio Castignoli ran in and hit page with an uppercut. Uno rolled up Page to score the pinfall.

Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia defeated Jeff Jarrett and Matt Hardy to advance to the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Semifinals

Sonjay Dutt distracted the referee, as Lethal slid Jarrett’s guitar into the ring for Matt Hardy to use. Hardy kicked it away, then walked right into the GTH from Sammy Guevara. Daniel Garcia made the blind tag and scored the win for his team.

Post-Match: Jarrett’s and the rest of the heels jumped Matt Hardy. Brother Zay attempted to make the save, but he was taken out by Satnam Singh. Ethan Page then ran in to chase the heels away.

Hikaru Shida defeated Marina Shafir

Shida hit the Katana kick on Shafir to get the pinfall.

Brian Cage and Big Bill defeated Matt Sydal and Trent Beretta to advance to the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Semifinals

Cage and Bill got the win after Cage held up Sydal for a powerbomb, and then Bill nailed him with a lariat. 

Bill and Cage now move on to face MJF and Adam Cole in the semi-finals of the Blind Eliminator Tournament.
