AJ Francis (aka Top Dolla from WWE), confirmed reports he was backstage at Saturday’s AEW Worlds End pay-per-view at the Additional Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.
Francis posted a picture of his AEW One Day Talent Pass on social social media. He thanked Tony Khan, QT Marshall and Shawn Dean for allowing him to see some friends and also have a fun night as well.
Fightful Select also reported that former WWE Superstar Baron Corbin was also backstage. However, at the time of this writing, Corbin has yet to confirm.
Francis’s current deal with TNA Wrestling ends on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. He finished up with the company at the Final Resolution event back on December 13 and the TV tapings that followed.
As Top Dolla, Francis was first released from WWE back on November 4, 2021. He returned to the company during the August 12, 2022 episode of SmackDown. He would be released a second time on September 21, 2023.
