Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship in a Four-Way Match against Hangman Page, Orange Cassidy and Jay White at the Worlds End pay-per-view.
The match came about after the opening tag team match on the 12/11 AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming episode, which featured Moxley and PAC vs. Cassidy & White. Hangman Page ran in during the match, attacking Moxley and then shoving Cassidy to the corner after he tried to pull him (Page)off of Moxley. As a result the match ended in a disqualification. Cassidy then went after Page, but accidently hit White with an Orange Punch. After Cassidy hit Page, White dropped Cassidy with a Blade Runner. The Death Riders, minus Claudio Castagnoli, then attacked Hangman, Cassidy and White, leaving them lying in the ring. to attack Moxley for the DQ and shoved off Cassidy who tried to pull him off.
In a backstage segment, Moxley said he would give Hangman, Cassidy and White a title shot, in a four-way at Worlds End.
The other matches set for Worlds End is the AEW Continental Classic Semifinals and Finals and MJF defending the Dynamite Diamond Ring against Adam Cole.
AEW Worlds End takes place at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, December 28. The pay-per-view will begin at 8:00 pm ET and is available to order through TrillerTV, AEW’s YouTube Channel and PPV.com.
