PWInsider has published a new report with an update on AEW star Eddie Kingston.
Kingston has been out of action since this past May, after he broke his tibia, tore his ACL and meniscus against Gabe Kidd at the NJPW Resurgence PPV. Kingston sustained the injury after he took a suplex through a table set up as a bridge between the ring and the guard rail. Kingston slammed his legs over the as he went through the table.
Kingston underwent surgery this past July. PWInsider further notes that Kingston has been “furiously” pushing himself through physical therapy so he can return to the ring as soon as possible. Furthermore, PWInsider said they were told that Kingston has been warned by the doctors the he would likely not be cleared to return to action until June 2025.
