In the most recent issue of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on The Young Bucks following their tag title on Dynamite.
Meltzer stated that the former champions, who lost the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Private Party on Fright Night Dynamite, will be taking some time off from programming before returning to feud with Jon Moxley’s faction:
The Young Bucks did an angle after dropping the tag titles to Private Party where they were shredding papers and left to ‘work at home.’ The idea is that Moxley’s group has caused so much chaos that it’s unsafe and they don’t want to get involved, with the idea of eventually coming back and saving AEW. Nick has a separated shoulder and has been working on it for weeks. There is no set timetable for a return past it’ll be for a while, and they aren’t scheduled for the Full Gear show [on November 23]. It’ll be no longer than January since they are confirmed for the joint AEW & NJPW show at the Tokyo [Dome] on 1/5.

It was also announced today that AEW Meal and a Match will return for a new run of episodes following a pilot released in May, with Darby Allin serving as their first guest back.
The former TNT Champion will sit down with hosts RJ City and Renee Paquette, enjoying a meal while watching and discussing the Coffin Match Allin had against Brody King in August 2022.
The series, inspired by the TBS show Dinner and a Movie (which made its return in June) can be found on the network’s YouTube channel and featured Eddie Kingston in the pilot episode.
