AEW files new trademarks that include the term Max

On Friday, October 25 via the United States Patent and Trademark Office, AEW filed for the following new trademarks:

-“AEW Max Month”

-“AEW WrestleMax

-“WrestleMax”

Back on October 2, which was the five-year anniversary of Dynamite, both AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a new multi-year media right deal worth $185 million a year. The new deal keeps Dynamite airing on TBS and Collision on TNT. Part of the new deal will see Dynamite and Collision stream live simultaneously on Max at the same time as they air live on TBS and TNT, beginning in January 2025. In addition, all of AEW’s pay-per-views will be available on Max for a discounted price, which also starts sometime in 2025.

“Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing series featuring wrestling provided through television and the internet; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling; Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks.”
