Former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm lost her debut CMLL match to La Catalina on Friday night.
The event, which was held at Arena Mexico, saw Catalina pin Storm clean after delivering a top rope splash. After the match, Storm cut a promo saying that she would return to CMLL.
In their Instagram post with photos from Storm’s match, CMLL made her images black and white.
The match between the two women was originally scheduled for October 11. However, it was postponed due to Storm not being able to fly out of Florida, due to Hurricane Milton. This is not the third straight loss for Storm. She lost to Mayu Iwatani at the Stardom Nagoya Golden Fight event earlier this month and dropped lost the AEW Women’s World Title to Mariah May at AEW All In back on September 7.
