AEW has posted a short clip to X, with Hook saying that after tracking down the security footage, he has identified the person who attacked his father in the parking lot of the venue.
Hook notes in the clip that he will handle it on next Wednesday’s Dynamite, when the show rolls into the Maverick Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Back on October 2, AEW ran an angle on social media just shortly before Dynamite went live on the air, noting that Taz had been attacked in the parking lot of the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, earlier in the day. Taz has also responded saying that his knee was messed up and that he was headed to a local hospital. Nigel McGuinness filled in on commentary for Taz.
The angle was done in order to write Taz off of AEW television, so he could get knee replacement surgery.
