According to Deadline, AEW star MJF is the latest to the join cast of Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2, which stars Adam Sandler.
The report notes that details of the role for the former AEW World Champion are under wraps, as is the sequel’s plot. Bad Bunny is said to have also joined the cast. NFL Chief’s Tight End Travis Kelce is set to have a cameo in the film.
Per a report from PWInsider, as it pertains to the film, the Gilmore sons are all “tough crazy bastards with New England accents who have inherited their father’s love of hockey. They all live out on their own and work blue collar jobs.” Furthermore, PWInsider says they were also told the script for the film calls for the sons to be seen at different ages across. Filming is reportedly set to take place in New Jersey through November.
