During an appearance on the Stick to Wrestling podcast, AEW star Matt Taven provided an update on Wardlow. Taven said that Wardlow is currently “out with a knee injury.” However, Taven did not give any further information on the severity of the injury or when Wardlow may have suffered the injury. Taven also went on to say that he believed Wardlow is “just trying to figure out what the best kind of treatment plan is to get back on track with that knee.”
Wardlow last wrestled at the AEW Dynamite Big Business episode, which took place back on March 13 at TD Garden in Boston, MA.
In addition, Taven was asked about Adam Cole, but did not have an update. Taven did add that everyone is trying to focus on their long-term health and that he will return when he is ready. Cole has been out of in-ring action since suffering a severe ankle injury during last September’s Dynamite Grand Slam.
