AEW Dynamite and Collision SPOILERS from Cardiff

Below are spoilers from the AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales.

AEW Dynamite Spoilers:

Michael Oku defeated Serpentico (Dark match)

-Kazuchika Okada and Claudio Castagnoli enter for the Continental Championship match.

-Chris Jericho defeated Tommy Billington

-Jericho cut a promo before the match saying Billington doesn’t have the right to use the Dynamite Kid name. During the match, Jericho responded to “Please retire” chants by getting on the microphone and saying the fans only wanted him to retire so he could help the Cardiff City Football Club.

-Hook came out to confront Jericho after the match but was attacked from behind by Big Bill.

-TBS Champion Mercedes Mone’ and Britt Baker came out for their contract signing next.

-Tony Schiavone hosted the segment and said both Baker and Mone’ had agreed to no physicality during the segment.

-Mone’ said Baker is the past and she is the future.

-Baker said when she thinks of the past, she thinks of AEW All In last year when Mone’ hobbled into the stadium to watch her wrestle. Mone’ got a “shut the f— up” chant at one point.

-Baker said she would agree to the rules and not hit Mone, but that didn’t apply to Kamille. Baker hit Kamille with the microphone, then dove off the table onto her with a high cross. Both Mone and Kamille scattered and Baker held up the TBS title belt.

-AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm defeated Saraya to retain her title. Mariah May attacked Storm after the match with a shoe.

-Renee Paquette interviewed Hangman Page backstage. Page revealed he will be in the Casino Gauntlet match at AEW All In. Evil Uno walks in and reveals he is also in the gauntlet. Page then attacked him.

-Will Ospreay and MJF came out for their face to face. Ospreay initiated things getting physical and security came out to break them up.

-AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. Claudio Castagnoli went to a time-limit draw

-Darby Allin and FTR defeated Jack Perry and The Young Bucks. The Acclaimed came out after the match and had a staredown with FTR

-Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland final segment before AEW All InThe segment was hosted by Nigel McGuinness. Swerve cut a promo but when he mentioned Danielson’s family, Danielson came out and hit Swerve with a Busaiku Knee.Danielson asked the crowd if he can beat Swerve on Sunday and the crowd erupted in “Yes!” chants to end the segment.

AEW Collision Spoilers:

Tony Khan came out to address the live crowd between tapings. He referenced the movie Timecop, as he often does, to explain the out-of-order airing of some shows this week, with Rampage having been taped last Saturday.

-The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly) w/Tomohiro Ishii defeated The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven)

-Willow Nightingale w/Tomohiro Ishii defeated Harley Cameron

-Katsuyori Shibata w/Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes defeated Jay Lethal w/Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt

-Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway defeated Lykos II and Nina Samuels in a mixed tag match. Statlander did most of the work for her team. She slammed Stokely onto Lykos for the win.

-Hook defeated Big Bill. Social media posts from those in attendance say the crowd was really into Big Bill.

-Jeff Jarrett defeated Ariya Daivari. Crowd was really into Jarrett too

-London Ladders Wild Card Qualifying match: PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta defeated Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) and Lio Rush. After the match, the rest of the teams scheduled for London Ladders at All In came out (House of Black, Patriarchy, Bang Bang Gang) and the show finished with everyone brawling.
