Revolution Pro’s Summer Sizzler 2024 event in London, England saw MJF defend his AEW “American” Championship.
The champion, who rechristened the AEW International Championship after winning it from Will Ospreay, retained against Oku before laying into his challenger.
Hitting a Tiger Driver on Oku, MJF was stopped from anything further by Ospreay making his way to the ring.
With the champion chased off, Ospreay went on to address the crowd promising to do “whatever it takes” to defeat MJF at All In, emanating from Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, August 25.
