NJPW has announced that AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone’ has been added to their Capital Collision pay-per-view.
Capital Collision will take place at the Washington at the Entertainment & Sports Arena on Friday, August 30.
Mone’s opponent has yet to be named. This will be the first time Mone’ will be returning to NJPW since last May’s NJPW Resurgence event, where she suffered a very bad ankle/leg injury, which took her out of action for a year.
She defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship at the June 30 AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
