AEW star CJ Perry took to X on January 14, providing another update on her MRSA infection.
Perry thanked everyone for their support and said that she had a relapse with the MRSA infection due to the antibiotics that stopped working. Perry went on to say she had to be rushed to the hospital. The surgeon dug scabs, flesh, pus and skin out of her finger.
Back on January 11, Perry revealed via Instagram that MSRA was being drained from her finger daily, with a second surgery being scheduled. Then on January 12, She provided another update that much of the MRSA infection has been removed, but that a second surgery was still on the table.
The initial surgery took place in order to deal with an infection caused by a splinter. She ended up in the ER, which turned into a hospital stay of over 50 hours as the infection became worse.
