AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan, during the Worlds End Media Scrum, he confirmed reports that Andrade El Idolo’s contract is up at the end of 2023. Khan also put over Andrade and said the two-sides couldn’t come to terms.
Khan also noted that he wanted to put Andrade is a prominent position. He then went on to confirm that Andrade’s loss to Miro was the end, and that Andrade will leave AEW on a high note.
It was reported on Saturday that Andrade’s deal is up and that he is expected to sign with WWE and show up on Monday’s Day 1 episode of WWE Raw. Triple H has teased a former Champion appearing on this Monday’s Raw, following reports of a former champion set to appear the first show of 2024.
Andrade lost to Miro at Saturday night’s Worlds End PPV, after his manager – Miro’s wife CJ Perry turned on him.
