AEW taped this Friday night’s New Year’s Smash episode of Rampage at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, FL after Dynamite went off the air.
Below are the spoilers, courtesy of PWInsider.
-Chris Jericho cut a promo and ended up mending things with Sammy Guevara who came to the ring
-Wheeler Yuta defeated Matt Sydal via The Seatbelt to retain the ROH pure title in a pure rules match. Christopher Daniels, Sarah Stock, and Jimmy Jacobs were the judges for the match.
After the match, Danhausen came to the ring and was attacked by Yuta. Hook came down to make the save.
-Ruby Soho defeated Marina Shafir. Harley Cameron distracted the referee allowing Ruby to roll up Shafir with the tights for the win.
After match, the Nyla chased Saraya into the crowd.
-Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta, and Rocky Romero defeated Top Flight and Action Andretti in a six man tag team match
After the show went off the air, Tony Khan brought out Negative One to celebrate with the babyfaces. Tony put over Revolution 2022 as perhaps the best PPV they have done, which was the last show AEW had done at the Addition Financial Arena prior to Wednesday night. He also said they plan to come to Orlando more often.
Rampage will air this Friday night on TNT, beginning at 10:00 pm ET.
