Tony Khan addresses AEW’s new safety protocol: ‘Nothing that’s going to change the show”

AEW President Tony Khan made a brief appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, where he was asked about making the company safter and protecting the performers.

In response to this, a question referencing a document that has reportedly been circulated with a new safety protocol including moves and behavior that is banned from shows and that which needs prior approval:

“Yes, I want to have a great pro wrestling company, a hard-hitting pro wrestling company. Those aren’t really crazy changes. It’s nothing that’s going to change the show. It’s really more guidelines for the referees than anything else, and it’s good stuff for the wrestlers to know.”
