The Elite and the Blackpool Combat Club are set to face off in Blood & Guts on the 7/19 edition of AEW Dynamite, and the fifth and final member of each squad was revealed on the 7/12 edition of the show.
In the closing segment, Don Callis came to the ring to announce the fifth member representing the Blackpool Combat Club, only to be interrupted by the arrival of Kenny Omega…who himself was attacked by the man revealed to be BCC’s final piece of the puzzle…PAC.
After an ambush by him and the BCC, PAC confronted Omega telling him he was the fifth member and stating how much he was looking forward to getting revenge on Omega for shattering his nose months ago.
Before any more damage could be done to Omega, however, the Best Bout Machine told the BCC to “check the screen” as The Elite still had their own final member to announce…Kota Ibushi, Omega’s former Golden Lovers tag team partner.
With that, the stage for violence has been set for the 7/19 edition of Dynamite emanating from TD Garden in Boston, as the Blackpool Combat Club joins forces with Konosuke Takeshita and the returning PAC to take on the Golden Elite of Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, The Young Bucks, and Kota Ibushi making his AEW debut.
