What happened after AEW Dynamite went off the air

After AEW Dynamite went off the air on Wednesday night, Darby Allin took the mic and thanked Sting.

The crowd then chanted, “Thank you Sting.” Sting then took the mic and said, “No, no, thank you.” The crowd then chanted “You deserve it.” Sting told the fans they deserve it, too.

Sting then said that if he knocked a tooth out and needs stitches in his lip, it was worth it to do it tonight here.  He did have blood on his chin.  He then thanked Tony Khan for allowing him to do it.

Sting also praised Darby Allin and said if he didn’t have Allin by his side, he couldn’t have come this far in AEW.  He said he’s only had a few tag team partners in his career, but Allin was “numero uno.”

Sting then led an AEW chant and thanked the crowd again.
