Following AEW Collision, Jim Ross took to twitter, apologizing for how he sounded during the main event match on the show. He also said that he is stepping away to heal.
Ahead of the premiere episode of AEW Collision, Ross revealed on Twitter Saturday that he suffered a bad fall. The 71-year-old posted a picture of himself with the black eye, noting he was heading to Chicago to be part of the premiere episode of AEW Collision.
Ross, who was named as part of the Collision broadcast team, joined Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness on commentary for the main event match between CM Punk and FTR vs. Samoa Joe and Bullet Club’s Jay White and Juice Robinson.
Ross’ voice was very low and he did not sound good as he helped call the match.
