Tony Khan has not “drawn any hard lines” on AEW roster split

Speaking as a guest on the Barstool Rasslin’ podcast, AEW President Tony Khan was asked if Collision will have exclusive talent upon its premiere.

In response, Khan stated:

“I am going to feature certain talent on certain shows, but I haven’t drawn any hard lines or locked us into any kind of a split of a roster. I think people are going to be featured on certain shows, but I also think that gives us a great opportunity to showcase certain wrestlers on both Dynamite and Collision at certain times and certain stories that can cross the shows.”

Khan went on to describe the champions of AEW as being “the champions on every show,” before stating that five hours of television every week between the three shows they have airing gives the company a better chance to utilize its roster.

AEW Collision will premiere on June 17 with a trios main event of Samoa Joe teaming with Bullet Club Gold to take on CM Punk and AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, live from Chicago’s United Center, airing on TNT in the United States, TSN+ in Canada, and FITE TV’s AEW+ service across various international markets.
