AEW taped the Rampage go-home show for Double or Nothing on Wednesday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. There has been a change made to a six-man tag team match, due to an injury, which is in the spoilers below.
Rampage will air at midnight ET on Saturday, May 27 due to TNT’s coverage of the NBA Playoffs.
-Jim Ross and Chris Jericho joined the commentary team
-Jericho cut off his theme song and then cut a promo on the crowd cheering for Sabu on Dynamite
-The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn defeated Rush, Preston Vance and Dralistico when Max Caster pinned Dralistico
The Acclaimed cut a promo, saying they have been running through the Trios division. Since they are in Vegas, they should do some gambling. They teased they were coming for the House of Black.
-The Gunns and Ethan Page defeated Frescomatic, Watson and Jeaux Braxton. Page then cut a promo saying he hoped the Hardy Boys were watching. The Hardys came out and said Isaiah Kassidy could not compete because he has been injured. Hook then came out and said he will replace Kassidy in the match at Double or Nothing
-Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker defeated Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose when Britt forced Shafir to submit to the Lockjaw
-They showed the Outcasts attacking Jamie Hayter backstage after the match, leaving her laying.
-Lee Moriarty and Big Bill defeated Best Friends. There was a huge brawl with everyone involved in the Blackjack Battle Royal to close the show
