During Wednesday night’s AEW Rampage TV taping in Milwaukee, WI, Cash Wheeler took to the mic to announce to the fans that they have signed a new four-year contract with AEW. The tag team then went on to say that after this new four-year deal ends in 2027, they will retire.

After taking some time off, FTR returned to AEW at the Revolution pay-per-view back on March 5, confronting The Gunns and then attacking them.
FTR challenged The Gunns to a match for the April 5 episode of Dynamite, saying that if they could not defeat The Gunns and win the AEW World Tag Team Championships, they would leave AEW. FTR successfully in capturing the titles. FTR is in their second reign with the tag team championships.
